Description: This video genuinely could have been 2 hours long. There is so much I didn’t touch on and didn’t talk about, but I just wanted to give you guys a quick explanation of what happened with Taco over the last year. I did this video without J because when we talk about him together we just get very emotional - we may make another video in the future talking about it, I don’t know. Rehoming our dog was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make (yes, harder than deciding to get divorced). Maybe that sounds dramatic to some people, but I take my responsibility toward my pets very seriously and this entire situation just felt impossibly painful no matter what we decided. I hope we made the right decision. We know we weren’t perfect, we know that MAYBE there were things we could have done that would have helped Taco along the way. I’m sure there are a million things that people will suggest - yes we tried cbd, yes we tried anxiety collars, yes we had medical testing done, yes we were prepared to move with Taco so that he didn’t have people walking by the house to see if that would help, yes he was neutered… I could go on and on. At the end of the day, he wasn’t happy and needed to move on.
