Description: Qatar Fifa World up 2022: Qatar Unveils Lusail Stadium, Where The Final Will Be Played. Credits: The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy Organisers of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar have unveiled designs for the huge Lusail Stadium, where the final will be held. The 80,000-seater stadium will be the largest venue in the World Cup, hosting the opening game as well as the final match in a bowl-shaped arena. The eye-catching shape of the round stadium has been inspired by the Middle East's ancient tradition of craftsmanship. It is the eighth and final stadium design to be unveiled, with construction already underway and scheduled to be completed in 2020. A colourful gala event was held at Lusail Marina, 15km north from Doha, to unveil the showpiece stadium of the iconic tournament. Designed by British firm Foster + Partners, the venue's golden facade takes its inspiration from Arab architecture and the region's tradition of craftsmanship. With the substructure complete, concrete superstructure and infrastructure works are progressing in all seating zones, while internal works have commenced in the west stand. Construction of the stadium is set to be completed in 2020. After the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Lusail Stadium will be transformed into a community space, including schools, shops, cafes, sports facilities and health clinics, the SC said. To make way for these amenities, many of the stadium's modular seats will be removed and donated to sporting projects around the world. At least 26,000 people are directly involved in the construction of the proposed stadiums. Please like and share the video. Don't forget to subscribe to the channel for more amazing contents.
