Description: It is Black Tailer Prairie Dog. The cute animal are eating dry grass. A Prairie Dog is not a dog at all, but actually a rodent related to squirrels. They named Prairie "Dog" because of the barking noises they make when warning other of dangers. Prairie Dogs feed on grasses, leaves, roots, and stems found on prairies.
