Description: Most loop pedals have the capability to add and remove layers, that's all you need to play this game! I'm using a TC Electronic Ditto. If you're looking for an inexpensive looper to get started with, that's a great buy. Here's how to play the game. Step 1: Create a simple four bar loop. In this video I'm just walking up the first four chords of the major scale. Step 2: Begin overdubbing and let it loop continuously, over and over again. The goal is to tastefully fill up space until you've got something beautiful or it's totally chaotic. Step 3: Once it inevitably gets out of control, take it all away so you're left with just the original loop you started with. Step 4: Do this over and over again. A good goal is to try to play something different each time so you can really explore all the possibilities of a chord progression. This is a great way to learn how to fill space while looping. The whole point is to get you thinking critically about what you play and how you play it. Those two things are absolutely essential to good looping! If you have any questions at all, hit me up in the comments and I'll get back to you when I can :) Cheers!
