(EXPERIMENT) Kayleena had the idea to try printing some Cyanotypes on natural vegetable tanned leather, so we gave it a try! A cyanotype is an early photographic printing process where you coat paper with an emulsion that is UV sensitive and once exposed to light, everything covered is left white while everything not covered turns a beautiful blue color - it's the reason blueprints are called "blueprints", and the reason they used to be blue! We give this method a go with a cheap cyanotype kit from amazon on some veg tan and get varying results.
