In this video, I took on a challenge to make a designer light. The name 'Pilea' is picked for its resemblance to the plant pilea peperomioides, which is a popular house plant. Interestingly, in a similar fashion, the ikea maskros light also takes the form of the plant dandelion seeds. This is one of the most doable DIY projects you need to try. Use simple materials like bamboo skewer sticks, watercolor papers and foam board, you are able to create a designer lamp like this. It can potentially save you lots of money!
