Instead of containing a "positive change arc" as so many films do, this is a story of disillusionment. And despite it being a story from long ago, this disillusionment story bears remarkable similarities to Parasite—a tense social satire about a poor family, the Kims, who con their way into becoming the servants of a rich family, the Parks. In this video we compare the character arcs from both films.
