Spence and I moved last year to the country, so this year I've started a flower garden and I've been adding more potted plants to our interior, too. With gardening on the brain, what started as one tutorial idea evolved into a mini series of 3 gardening illustration tutorials! This week, we're kicking off video number 1 with some gouache gardening supplies 🌱 From this intermediate tutorial, you'll learn how to: ✨ Create and alter a sketch layer ✨ Use the copy/paste selection option ✨ Establish a painting order based on an element's appearance ✨ Create a highly organized file with many layers + groups ✨ Center and scale all elements for an effective layout Grab the free color palette and brushes above to get started! I use the Paperlike screen protector on my 3rd gen iPad Pro (12.9", 256GB). More info here: paperlike.com/everytuesday I'm also using the NimbleGrip by Uppercase on my 2nd gen Apple Pencil.
