Luckily my mom and dad came to babysit on the same day this weirdly awesome weather rolled in. We were supposed to shoot inside on just a flat white background, but we jumped in the car over to one of our favourite secret spots. It was absolutely worth the cold and damp, it was 2 degrees outside and when we were finished we looked like we'd just come out of the shower. The first time I heard this tune was a few months back, I thought of making a cover back then because I instantly liked it. I couldn't figure out what to do with it though. Just making a copy is too boring and uninspired, so I added as much of myself into it as I could muster. I really like the original tune, not only the unorthodox hurdy gurdy, but it also being used in an unorthodox way, even for a gurdy and it's very inventive and really suits the pop element of the tune. It's just a straight up good tune and both me and Mando had a lot of fun reworking it and doing our thing with it.
