I decided to record the song as a layered hurdy-gurdy-"orchestra" version again, but this time with more percussion for the epic-ness. Here's the result! I hope you enjoy it. #hurdygurdy #folkmusic This traditional instrument is called "hurdy gurdy" and has its roots in the medieval times. It works like a mechanical violin with a wheel bow, that can play bass, melody and rhythm all at once. Most layers of this song are recorded using only the hurdy gurdy, except the epic percussion - played by the producer Simon Michael!
