Description: SUBSCRIBE HERE: youtube.com/inthekitchenwithjonnyj SOCIAL MEDIA Instagram: instagram.com/jonny.photos Twitter: twitter.com/jonnymejia23 Snapchat: itsjomejia Facebook: facebook.com/KitchenWithJonny Contact: jonnymejia1095@gmail.com Ingredients 1 cup of all purpose flour 1 cup of white sugar 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder 3/4 tsp baking soda 1/2 baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 large egg 1/4 cup of flavorless oil 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup of milk 1/2 cup boiling water Ganache frosting 1 cup (6 oz) dark chocolate (70%) 1/2 (3 oz) cup milk chocolate 1/2 cup heavy cream Instructions 1. Line an 8" square pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. In a large bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Whisk together then add egg, oil, vanilla extract and milk and whisk well. Add boiling water whisk well until batter is smooth. 3. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes then remove and allow to cool completely in the counter. 4. Make chocolate frosting by combining all the frosting ingredients together and microwave for 1 minute and 30 second or until the chocolate is melted. Whisk until chocolate is fully melted and set aside. 5. Once the cake is fully cooled, invert it upside down and then spread the chocolate ganache on top. Cut into 9 pieces and enjoy.
