Description: For early access to uploads, consider joining me on Patreon at: patreon.com/jafromobile Check out Detective Coating on FaceBook, DSMTuners, at the Shootout, at their website: detectivecoating.com and for cryin' out loud I pulled up to their sign at 2:36. Even if you don't send them parts to coat, feel free to send Talon doggie treats. Also, special thanks to my Patrons who just received a glorious 3D transformation at the end. Please feel free to check out my updates on Patreon, and if you wish to be emblazoned in infamy in my credits for helping me build my dreams, while also gaining early access to my content... as well as exclusive footage... all that starts at only $1. patreon.com/Jafromobile This is stage 3/3 of the necessary steps for applying an oil repellent coating for automotive use. Make your coating stick. Bake it. This is not a product endorsement, it's a documentary of how I accomplished my own coating and the people who helped me get there. If you should choose to do this to your engine, you have carefully considered all the factors and risks involved, and do so at your own peril. You already know if the way your engine is used warrants or justifies any of these benefits and drawbacks. Add the process of doing this, and it's an even bigger motivation not to try it. You only need it if you have oil displacement issues. Most cars don't. If you care enough about engineering, then you understand that *how an engine is used* can create oil displacement issues. This treatment is a time-consuming, hazardous process that requires lengthy drying time and baking. This is not something you bake in your kitchen. It's a 0 horsepower mod. But oil drains fast and it's pretty. Plus it's here on YouTube and you're going to be looking at this thing quite a bit... so there's that.
