Description: Join me on this "treasure hunt" in a new spot. The start was a little bit disappointing. I noticed after a few coil swings that this place was already cleaned out. After a shiny button find from 1700's, I moved on, but the situation got worse with lots of trash in modified terrain. I then found what looked like a former path that lead to a slope with a few surprises among iron. I made a few nice finds that day. What stud out was the large coin shaped object. It turned out to be a commemorative medal from 1817. It was issued to remain people of difficult times (hunger) during 1816-1817. Picture of a similar commemorative medal: bawue.museum-digital.de/object/4063 (text in German) More detail: docplayer.org/41666095-Achtzehnhundertunderfroren.html (text in German) More info on that subject: researchgate.net/publication/318884595_Remembering_Hunger_Museums_and_the_Material_Culture_of_Famine (text in English) The big "trash hole" was interesting as well, but I would need a shovel to reach deeper layers. Who knows, it might contain a surprise... All in all it was a physically demanding, but satisfying adventure in nature. I hope you enjoyed it despite its length. Thank you for watching. š§ The sound in this video was recorded in binaural audio.
