Description: Possessive adjectives in Spanish are used to express possession and can come in handy when you want to stake your claim on something. The word ‘my’ in Spanish, which is ‘mi,’ works exactly as ‘my’ in English: mi café, mi habitación, and so on. Pair up the word ‘mi’ with any noun (people, places and things) and you’re all set. As in English, possessive adjectives in Spanish go right before the noun. Because they are adjectives, they need to agree in gender and number with the noun they’re accompanying. That is another difference with English, a language that doesn’t assign a gender to nouns. Here I’ll show you the usage of the singular and plural of possessive adjectives in Spanish, and I’ll give you some vocabulary to practice. You’ll see that mastering possessives is easier than you think. Click here to learn more about the Fluenz programs: store.fluenz.com/collections... fluenz.com/languages/learn-la...
