Being able to cook with a hill tribe family was one of the most unique experiences in Thailand we have had in all 4 months here! The main dishes were sticky rice cooked inside of bamboo and a mix of curries, however we were able to try some exotic Thai food when they served frog soup! The next stop on our Hill Tribe Village tour was the Hmong Hill Tribe village, also located in Northern Thailand inside of Doi Suthep National Park. The Hmong village was more advanced than the Karen, and quite resembled a traditional Thai village you might have seen a decade ago.
