But I do love any mohawk style, and the pull through braids are just always a winner. My daughter's dance studio is making the pull through braids their hairstyle for their spring performance! Great minds..... For this Mohawk Pull Through Braid, you will need: 5-10 minutes A small bunch of elastics Comb for parting Big elastic/ponytail for bun 2-4 bobby pins for anchoring bun to head This style is simple and great for a more seasoned beginner! The biggest trick to getting this style to look good is PARTING the hair cleanly, and then clipping the hair you don't want in it away from that sections. Also make sure your sections for the braid are lined up --and the elastics are in a straight line. The cleaner you get your parts and lines, the better it will look! Same goes for combing things into ponytails and buns..........the smoother the better! Use the fine teeth on your combs to get the hair nice and smooth, and use a little water as well.
