Description: Michael Waltrip of NASCAR fame and two-time winner of the Daytona 500 is opening a new brewery in Bristol, VA/TN. They asked me to build a bar shelf that would incorporate his initials "MW". In this video I document the process of building the bar shelf as well as the time and expense involved in doing it. Many of the techniques are straightforward but the angles involved required more advanced woodworking skills. I incorporated TrackTubes in the build for the work surface and for a necessary straight edge for aligning the shelves. While I do not reveal exactly what I was paid to make this (that is between me and MWB Co.), I do give you some insight into how you might price a similar job based on time and expense by simply plugging in your own shop rate.....
