Description: In this episode I'm detecting a slope next to a cornfield. I can tell instantly if a place has been hunted. It was no different this time - rare finds at the beginning turned out to be either foil, coke or a bird ring, signals someone probably skipped on purpose. The first good relic (a 1700's button next to a tree) sounded partially like iron and was probably overlooked because of it. The place was remarkably clean and the lack of finds felt almost frustrating. Whoever was "responsible" for it, did an outstanding job. When I got "around the corner", I discovered a border stone next to something that looked like an older path. This could have been the reason, why this area got so much attention. Personally I would prefer if there was nothing at all. In the end I can't complain about the outcome. Considering the circumstances and the relatively short amount of time, a few nice finds came together. Almost all of the 1700's buttons were shiny, some even had design. The biggest one was gifted to me by a mouse that just pushed it from below the ground to the surface. I was also happy to see a few of my old friends - snails and the grasshopper. All in all it was a great, memorable day. I hope you enjoyed this adventure. Thank you for watching.
