Foam core board can be purchased at most craft stores. We cut these into small squares. We add parchment paper on top so the topper doesn't stick to the board. It's easy to push the lolly stick through the board. This keeps your topper straight and allows it to dry in the correct position. ***CUTTERS USED IN THIS TUTORIAL*** 2" circle cutter for brim of fireman hat Tip #12 for the white part of the eyes Tip #9 for the blue part of the eyes Tip #6 for the black part of the eyes Tip #6 to cut the corners of the mini badges Tip #6 & #7 for circles on backpack ~ADDING COLOR TO YOUR TOPPER: Towards the end of the video you see us dust color to our topper. The chalks are our absolute FAVORITE non-toxic chalks by Mungyo ( amzn.to/2v68D14 ) Please note that these are NOT EDIBLE, they are simply NON-TOXIC and should ONLY be used on toppers and decorations that will NOT be eaten. We pulverize the chalk by scraping it with a blade (as you've seen in many of our tutorials). For the white dots in the eyes and freckles on face, you can use any white and black gel food coloring of your choice. ---FAVORITE TOOLS & MATERIALS USED IN THIS VIDEO--- Sugar Artist Brush (with marbled brush stand): etsy.com/listing/467104181/marbled-brush-stand-for-cake-sugar?ref=shop_home_feat_1 ***YOU CAN FIND ALL THE OTHER TOOLS LISTED BELOW HERE: amazon.com/shop/krazykoolcakes?listId=2A99IDZIXOV0V&ref=idea_share_inf *** AMACO Flexible Polyblade AMACO Polyblade (non-flexible) Wilton 9" Rolling Pin Wilton 4" Lollipop Sticks Westcott Hand-Held Blade Martha Stewart Ball Tools (Stylus Set) Sculpey Ball Tools Wilton Gumpaste Modeling Tools (includes orange knife blade, veining tool, and wheel tool among others): Wire Cutters Wilton Character Tool Set (includes smiley face tool among others) ATECO Circle Cutters AmeriColor Black Food Writer Silhouette Knife Spatula FIMO Mini Rubber Shapers Mungyo Non-Toxic Chalks Bundle Monster Brush Set Nail Dotting Tool Set Craftsmart Camel Hair Brushes AmeriColor Silver Sheen Airbrush Color My Little Steamer Go Mini If you have questions about the tools/materials, and/or techniques used in this tutorial, please leave your question in the comment section.
