Description: In 1998, Mark and Ray Hanna from the Old Flying Machine Company in the UK, flew to New Zealand to take part in another Warbirds Over Wanaka International Airshow. In the lead-up to the show that Easter, both of these highly experienced warbird pilots had the opportunity to fly the Polikarpov I-16 (belonging to Sir Tim Wallis' Alpine Fighter Collection), for the first time. This video of (part of) Mark's first flight in the type has been recently re-discovered and remastered. It's believed that until now, only a handful of people have previously seen this footage.
