Also, this technique may not be suitable for surfaces that are expected to take abuse. I use it primarily for sign work, but many viewers have had success on light-duty furniture. Regardless, a spray clear coat is recommended for added durability. It may also help in the case that your stain is still tacky after several days. But, again, please experiment first. Good luck! The most common question asked appears to be "will this work on X material?" If it can take paint, it should work. If it has a texture, however, the results may be unpredictable.
