Atlanta Drum Academy's former drum captain , Jasmine Bowens, who now marches with Hampton University's Marching Band and plays with the Drum Line had a friendly snare drum battle at the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with a snare drummer from another drum line. Jasmine started playing with Atlanta Drum Academy when she was in the 5th grade. She was discovered by her first drum teacher, James Riles III Before coming an awesome snare drummer, Jasmine was a bucket drummer first. While still making the drumline, she worked real hard to make the snare line. She's able to do dci, wgi , or HBCU.
