Description: I was once in a very terrible place in my life. Where darkness had consumed most of the light, and dreams and hope were replaced by hopelessness and a sense of being useless. Purposeless. The enemy's lies had completely immobilised me. I was shattered, damaged, broken. But ... God. Isaiah 51:3 "The Lord will comfort Israel again and have pity on her ruins. Her desert will blossom like Eden, her barren wilderness like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found there. Songs of thanksgiving will fill the air." God met me in this desert place, profoundly poured his love into my empty spirit and solidified a truth I had always known... that I was intentionally created by Him from Love so that I could witness about His radical love and hope to others that found themselves in this dark place. What a powerful purpose we have been given! I'm in awe of this God. And so Eden was written - from isaiah 51:3. God will not leave you in this season of brown lifeless desert and dirt. Life and hope is coming! He will rebuild you on your ruins, he has already begun! I pray that where ever you are in this world, that you know God is with you. Though you feel you can give him nothing, he will plant seeds in and surrounding you, and create an Eden full of life, hope and possibilities.
