Description: Jog Falls, Gerosoppa Falls or Joga Falls is the second-highest plunge waterfall in India, Located in Sagara taluk, Shimoga District, Karnataka. These segmented falls are a major tourist attraction. They are also called Gersoppa Falls and Jogada Gundi. The nearest railway station is Talguppa. Talakalale is a balancing reservoir of Linganamakki dam which gets its water supply from Linganamakki. Talakalale dam is 5 km from Jog falls. Boat riding is enjoyable in Talakalale dam.
