Description: I wanted to make sure this Vlog was my first post for 2020. As many of you know, I spent a few weeks in Jamaica last year. My time there brought me a great deal of Clarity. Clarity in who I am, what I stand for and what I want to contribute to the world. I will admit that I’ve always had an underlying fear of doing too much Jamaican content. I constantly made efforts not to be put in the box of being looked at as the ‘Jamaican comedy guy.’ I was under the belief that adopting that persona would limit my mass appeal, ultimately making me not commercially viable which in turn would make it hard to create a sustainable living for myself. This trip to Jamaica taught me that what I once looked at as a weakness is actually the source to my unique perspective. I’m now more confident than ever before in my purpose. Moving forward my mission will include: representing Jamaica and the Caribbean, adding to the positive images and conversation surrounding all Black people and just overall being a kind human being.  I wish nothing but the best for all of you and hope your 2020 is the year you find your purpose, success, healing, and all your hearts desires.
