They've got 3 brand new cameras, a 120Hz ProMotion high refresh rate displays, way bigger batteries, and more. Apple has finally included a ProMotion display with adaptive refresh rate in an iPhone and you'll find it specifically on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. Here on the iPhone 13 Pro lineup, the display is able to dynamically go as high as 120Hz but also as low as 10Hz, depending on what's happening on your display. Gaming and scrolling with be buttery smooth, while your battery is conserved when you are on a static image or webpage. The Super Retina XDR displays themselves and are the same size as last year at 6.1 and 6.7 inches, with support to up to 1000 nites peak outdoor brightness, and 1200 nits when viewing HDR content. This year with the iPhone 13 Pro, Apple has given the phones an all-new 3-camera system and unlike last year, the Pro and Pro Max have the same camera features. The wide camera offers Apple's largest sensor ever with an f/1.5 aperture which will produce better low-light shots since it captures 2.2 times more light. The ultrawide is better too - it has 92% improvement in low light situations thanks to a wider aperture. The iPhone 13 Pro telephoto camera now goes up to 3x zoom which is up from 2.5x on the 12 Pro, enabling a 6x optical zoom range across the three cameras. All of the cameras also now support night mode, and there’s a new macro mode for taking close-up pictures of subjects at just 2 centimeters away using the ultra wide. Sensor-shift optical image stabilization is included on both the 13 and 13 Pro this time around.
