This bass was designed start to finish with comfort and ergonomics in mind. The styling is classic with an agressive modern twist. The neck and frets have been meticulously leveled and polished, with a professional setup. The two J style pickups are custom handwound to my specs by a local custom shop. The tone profile is extremly versatile, lending it to many music styles with only subtle EQing. The wiring is, again, an agressive modern twist on a classic design. Standard volume-volume-tone controls for a familiar feel, but added switches to allow for series/parallel of the two J pickups as a passive mid-boost, stereo split outputs for external bi-amping or recording, or when in series mode acts as a blower switch, bypassing the volume and tone controls for a slight passive top end boost.
