The Apex reveals the truth!” Book 3 of Infinity Train, titled Cult of the Conductor, establishes how Grace and Simon run their child cult and further explores the personality of these two new lead characters. Only a fraction of the episode takes place in the Musical Car, where the denizens were performing Jesse’s song about empathy (when I look at you, I see me), until they were violently assaulted by the Apex. The rest of the episode takes place in the Gravity Turtle College Car (alternatively, the Unfinished Car), where an unexpected train rearrangement leaves Grace and Simon stranded without backup. “The Musical Car” was an excellent start to the new season.
