Description: ♥ ♥ Thanks so much for watching! Don't forget to subscribe and turn on the notification bell to be notified every time I upload! ♥ ♥ infantswim.com Infant Swimming Resource on Facebook and Instagram From Emily: Not so fun facts I often share: -Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death for children under the age of 5 -Most drownings occur when children were not expected to be in the water -Drowning is silent and fast. Every parent thinks it could never happen to them but it does not discriminate. People can look up Levi’s Legacy, Live Like Jake, Judah Brown project which are all parents who have lost a child to drowning who advocate for water safety Also like to note that certified ISR instructors do not throw students into the water bc that’s a common misconception, all simulations are gentle and safely controlled and only done once the child is fully skilled. People can find instructors near them via infantswim.com. If cost is a factor, many instructors have payment plans and there are also lots of scholarships available.
