When I think about film I think of how expensive it is, or do I have the time, would I mess up a roll of film? Do have to process my own film? I have so many questions but I never actually picked up a film camera to learn how to use it. Until now. This whole experience has been so fun. I loved every aspect of it, from looking for the camera, choosing the film, shooting, and seeing the results is all super satisfying. All of my doubts and worries about film went away as I started doing it. What I loved most when shooting is that film forced me to fully rely on my vision. Because there was no instant gratification to review my images on the spot like digital, what I saw through the viewfinder is what I got. Based on how I composited the image, subject, color etc. This is not a knock-on digital lol no but it is nice to take a step back, enjoy the process, feel connected in my environment and create.
