The primary focus this week is how to use the reharmonization technique for the top note - which should always contain the melody line or phrase of the song that you’d like to reharmonize. The song, “Alpha & Omega” in the introduction was in the key of C. In this week’s lesson, we will apply “Drop 2 Chords” to reharmonize the hymn, “‘Tis So Sweet” in the key of C# - You will notice Dileesa’s vocal solo, lyrics and the top note of each chord are perfectly in sync.
