Description: Hey guys and welcome back for another hair video and before we get started I just had a quick question for you. Are you parting your hair the right way? Or have you ever asked yourself what part is best for me? During this whole hair growth journey? If yes, good, because today we’re going to be covering how to find the right hair part for you as a guy. Let’s look at the styles we have when it comes to parting hair and then let’s discuss how to choose a part that’s going to work well for you personally. Also, to break this down a little easiest, I’ve time stamped all the chapters in the video below and in the playback timeline so if you wanna skip ahead to certain parts or face shapes, you can do that nice and easy. Intro - 00:00 The Zig Zag Part - 01:26 So part 1 is the zig zag part. I personally hate this part and it's disorderly look gives me anxiety. I see this part mainly on female news anchors. The Off Center Part - 01:58 Part 2 is actually quite an uncommon one for guys as well but it’s actually quite cool & that part is the “Off Centre part.” The Center Part - 02:16 Part 3 is the middle part. The middle part is really hip right now for both men and women, the only thing is, this part in particular is the culprit behind why we get mistaken for Jesus all the time. The Side Part - 02:47 So being the Man Buns & Manes talent search extraordinaire, this is probably the second most popular parting style for guys with long hair. The way we can tell a side part is a side part and NOT a sweep is a very distinct disconnect from the hair on the side & the hair on top. Take note of that because the side part & the side sweep are similar, but NOT the same ok. Ok now that’s all our parts out of the way, now let’s talk about sweeps. Sweeps are the bomb, particularly: Parting Recap - 03:23 The Side Sweep - 03:45 Out of all my Man Buns & Manes talent hunting this sweep is the most popular but the most sexy way for guys to wear long hair by far. And that's not just me saying that because it’s my personal favourite. It’s just fact because I see it so much when I’m scrolling through the tagged section Man Buns & Manes instagram page. And finally, for the last styling option on my list today which is also another sweep hairstyle: The Back Sweep - 04:44 Again we have no parting with this kind of style. Heir is either tucked or untucked behind the ears and there is no visible part on the head. I feel like this look is really classic & I love it a lot. This one is also quite common to see on guys with long hair and my guess is because it looks good but is really simple haha. Ok, now we’ve covered all of our parting options, why don’t we go into which part is going to work the best for you. First thing you’ll need to know is what your face shape is. If you have no friggin clue then I’m glad you asked. DO also keep in mind the following recommendations are just my opinion based on what I learnt is hairstyling school. Realistically you can wear whatever hair you want, this is just based on proportions and what is classed as the most pleasing to a human eye.
