Description: I have to make some wooden rods for my next woodworking project, so when thinking about how to make wooden rods I thought that I could use the router table and a corner rounding router bit. Because I make long and thick wooden rods, I think that using the router table, to round over the corners of the square section strips, was easy and safe, because I can route half the length of the wooden strips and then turn them to route the other half. Like this I can keep my hands far from the corner rounding router bit. These big dowels that I make in this router table trick are similar to wood curtain rods, but actually they are for a different woodworking project.
