Become a virtuoso at something (ie. an instrument, music production, or singing). Not just songwriting. 2. Find a box to put yourself in (ie. the acoustic guitar guy, the hip-hop beat maker guy, the 80's rock vocalist guy), and own that box. Don't publicly make other art that is outside of your box. 3. Don't get on social media or post anything on social media unless it is something that is part of your art and creativity. Then try and make that post as much about your audience and not yourself as possible. 4. Finish things. 5.
