Description: In this video I make a simple plinth, pedestal, podium or box (in miniature) using 12mm MDF which I plan to paint. It's made with my students in mind so I explain some of the processes as if you are approaching making for the first time or with little experience. That said the method, and reasons behind making can be applied to all the said variations. These type of objects are used when presenting work, objects, artefacts or while doing performances.
