Description: Saturn is the planet that is well known for its rings. this video shows some mind-blowing facts of the Saturn's rings that how the Saturn rings work. Some other planets of the solar system also have rings but Saturn's rings are prominent and bigger. Irrespective of the question that from where the particles come that forms rings, we will discuss why the particles which are stuck in a planet orbit forms rings. The Saturn rings vertical height is very low as compared to its size. The Saturn ring consists, of billions of particles, but all the particles, are perfectly aligned, and move in the same direction. Why the Saturn rings' particles, are not dispersed, inclined, and move in different directions? Saturn's Ring particles are accumulated in the rings, orbiting at varying distances from the Saturn surface. Each ring is orbiting at a different speed, aligned above the Saturn's equator. Let’s suppose that particles around Saturn are orbiting in different directions. Some particles have a clockwise orbit, and the remaining have anticlockwise. The number of the particles will not be the same based on their directions. Let suppose that the majority of particles are orbiting anticlockwise The particles orbiting clockwise around Saturn, will be less in number. They will seem as moving in the wrong direction The particles orbiting clockwise will experience more resistance in their path They will suffer more collisions. They will get turned around by violent collisions. The number of clockwise particles will further decrease over time, and then a time will come when there will be no particle moving in the opposite direction, and all particles will move in the same direction. Now suppose that the Saturn ring particles with the same direction but are inclined It will appear that some particles are moving upward and downward to each other. When particles encounter each other, they will cancel each other upward and downward movement. As a result, both particles will have a less tilted orbit. It will continue, and over time, all particles will shape into a disk. ---------------------------------------------------------------- NHN New Horizon Youtube► youtube.com/c/NewHorizon2 Facebook► facebook.com/newhorizon111 Twitter► twitter.com/NHN_Newhorizon Instagram► instagram.com/newhorizonnhn ------------------------------------------------------------------- #saturnrings #space #science
