Still do not stick any finger in a Arc lighter because it hurts. In this project we make a harmless, but fun, desktop pocket sized electric chair from a cheap Arc lighter and some scrap wood. By spacing the electrodes as far as possible apart we get a very creepy looking spark gap what wavers around. I decided to add a small sound card that runs at the same voltage as the lithium battery inside the Arc lighter. The two things combined make it a super creepy little toy electric chair.
