"Cooper" is undoubtedly a one of a kind character whose passion for nature & personal demeanor in general will astound you! Don't be too hard on him for calling 911 for bees, people do it more than you would believe out of concern for public safety. Yes, bee swarms are usually very gentle if handled correctly but sometimes they can behave defensively, particularly when they have been sprayed with chemicals, water hose, etc... Never spray a swarm of bees, call a beekeeper to handle them. A variation of this video was aired years ago but for some reason, reasons I hope I have figured out, had some issues that caused youtube to do some censoring. This video has been re-edited to hopefully bring you something you will enjoy watching & enjoying for many years to come. Of all the characters (and there have been many!) I have run across fooling with bee swarms at locations all over southeast, Louisiana I don't know that I've run across a character quite like Cooper. He is simply amazing & captivated me with his extreme level of enthusiasm for bees & his way of expressing things was second to none! Although they contain stingers & can & will sting when threatened, European honey bees if handled correctly can be very gentle to deal with if you understand how to handle them correctly. He fools with bees in some capacity roughly 10 months or so of the year & will travel just about anywhere to fool with bees.
