Description: Beehive In Old Shed Wall Got a call from "JC" the homeowner about a beehive in his shed wall. Went out & had a look, located in Gentilly of New Orleans, Louisiana. The interior wall was not the way to go on this as there was built in shelves, work benches, etc... against the wall, so opening up the exterior wall was the way to go. One problem though: there was a pile of debris against the exterior wall, old wood, leaves, a bunch of crap & a chain link fence very close to the building! JC was very accommodating & cleared the debris & cut out a section of the fence for proper access. Normally with lapboard I stagger my cuts, just looks better when putting the wood back but there was a decent bit of rot & termite damage so JC said it was cool to cut the boards right on the studs. The bees were pretty cooperative even with all the cutting & pulling of the boards away from their nest, that's always a big plus!
