Description: HARI NARAYANA, MANTRA FOR MEDITATION. #Hari #Narayana is a #mantra that is chanted for #healing and mental clarity. The phrase is translated as “creative sustenance.” It comes from the Sanskrit, hari, which means “remover,” and Narayan, the name of a #Vedic deity associated with water. The mantra suggests the cleansing power of water. Narayana is the #SupremeGod (including his different avatars) in #Hinduism , worshiped as the Supreme Being in Vaishnavism. He is also known as #Vishnu and Hari and is revered as Purushottama or Supreme Purusha in #Hindu holy texts, for example, the #BhagavadGita , the #Vedas and the Puranas. The #Puranas present an apparently divergent, but accurate description of Narayana (as an Enlightened Supreme Being). The fifth verse of the Narayana Sukta, a hymn in Yajurveda, states that Narayana pervades whatever is seen or heard in this universe from inside and outside alike. Another important interpretation of Narayana is The One who rests on Water. The waters are called ”narah,” produced by Nara-Narayana (the first Being); as they were his first residence, he is called Narayana. In Sanskrit, “Nara” can also refer to all human beings or living entities (Jivas). Subsequently, another meaning of Narayana is Resting place for all living entities. The close association of Narayana with water explains the frequent depiction of Narayana in Hindu art as standing or sitting on the water. In Hindu holy writings like Vedas or Puranas, Narayana is described as having the divine blue color of water-filled clouds, four-armed, holding a Padma (lotus flower), mace Kaumodaki, Panchajanya shankha (conch) and a discus weapon Sudarshana #Chakra . Narayana is also described in the Bhagavad Gita as having a “Universal Form” (Vishvarupa) Vishvarupa which is beyond the common limits of human perception or imagination. Bhagavata Purana declares Narayana as Para #Brahman #SupremeLord who creates boundless universes and enters every one of them as #Lord of #Universe . Narayana engages in the creation of 14 worlds within the universe as Lord #Brahma when he deliberately accepts rajas guna. Narayana himself supports, maintains and preserves the universe as Vishnu when he acknowledges sattva guna and annihilates the universe at the end of maha-kalpa as #Shiva or #Rudra when he accepts tamas guna. According to this reference, the holy #Trimurti is non-different from Narayana. Narayana is additionally worshiped as #Mukunda which means #God who is the giver of Mukti or Moksha or freedom from the cycle of births and deaths in the material world (Samsara). Lyrics of the mantra: Hari Narayana, Hare Naryan, (2х) Hari Narayana, Hare Hari Narayana Hare, Hari Narayana, Hare Naryan Naryan. ************************************************************************ Mantra - it is a combination of special sounds and vibrations that purify space, body, mind and consciousness from negative energies. Mantra – it is an ancient sacred formula that gives a powerful Divine energy, it is the key that opens the way to the Supreme Divine knowledge. Repeat the mantras possible any number of times, but the most importantly the number of repetitions has to be a multiple of three. You can repeat them 3,6,9,15 ... times, but the best effect is obtained with a daily repetition of mantras 108 times, because the number of one hundred and eight is considered sacred. One – it symbolizes the Supreme Divine Energy, zero – it is the perfection of God's creation and eight – it is a symbol of eternity and infinity in an inverted form. In order not to make mistakes in counting the number of times they recommend to use the rosary.
