We thought it would be fun to work on some decorations for the party together as well. Cory got to work cutting out a witchy back drop scene for behind the band that Kelly designed from 9 sheets of plywood, which we painted black and installed LED rope lighting around the perimeter to back light. Sami's project was cutting bats out on the CNC plasma that she could string together and hang as a garland. She also cut out tomb stones from 2" foam insulation, spray painted them grey, and spiked into the grass around the barn. My idea for a project was a fire pit I cut out of a single sheet of 3/16" plate to go in the gravel driveway just outside the barn. The barn party was a hit! It was such a great night with all the food you could eat, all the beer you could drink, and all the best 80s music being covered by The Fat Bottom Girls.
