If you are not comfortable with filling on your new parts and potentially ruining them, then you should have a gunsmith install the parts for you. Installing pistol sights can be a pain in the rear. Most after market sights do not come with any tools to remove or install the sights leaving you to fend for yourself or pay a gunsmith to do the work. Dawson precision sights come with an aluminum punch so that you are better equipped to install the new sights on your own. However, I took it a step farther and purchased the VISM, a division of NcSTAR, sight press. With this low cost tool it make removing and installing sights much easier.
