Description: 5—THE TWO WITNESSES SERVE: Revelation 11:5-6—The identity of the 2 Witnesses has been often speculated. God only tells us what they do. Moses could send plagues so do they. Elijah could withhold rain, so do they. One interesting clue is when God sent Moses & Elijah to meet with Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration as a reminder of Christ’s glory at His Second Coming. 6—THE WORST HUMAN TO EVER LIVE: Revelation 11:7—The antichrist is the incarnation of Satan who is described 36x in Revelation. In Revelation 11 he is the Beast that ascends from the bottomless pit. In Revelation 13 he is called the Antichrist. 7—THE WHOLE WORLD WATCHES THE HORRORS OF THE TRIBULATION: Revelation 11:8-12—As the whole world watches (global digital media), and earth-dwellers rejoice (this is God’s description of the lost used 11x in Revelation 3:10; 6:10; 8:13; 11:10 2x; 13:8,12,14 2x; 14:6; 17:8) and sends gifts (global connectivity and communication)—God resurrects the 2 Witnesses and takes them to Heaven in a cloud as the stunned world watches in utter disbelief. 8—SOME GET SHAKEN ENOUGH TO GLORIFY GOD: Revelation 11:13—The earthquake prompts a response of faith in some who glorify God, probably a partial fulfillment of what Zechariah 12:10; 13:1 predicted, and well as Paul in Romans 11:25-27.
