Description: Turning a giant Cubera Snapper head into a perfect fish jaw mount! Step by step tutorial of how you can do it yourself! (DIY) This Cubera snapper was caught on our trip to Mexico in September, I chose not to make fish head soup out of it because it had been in the freezer for awhile and not kept clean. However, if you want to make a skull mount like this, you can make fish head soup in the process! I boiled the head until the bones separated from the meat, then I cleaned them the best I could with a pin and old tooth brush. I then soaked the 8 specific bones in Hydrogen Peroxide for 40 hours until they turned white. I then hot glued the bones together to get the final product!
