Description: At the end of the winter I started setting up a little garden close to the log cabin. I thought it will be just an afternoon of work, but it turned out to be a way bigger project. As I started from the ground up, I had to clean the grasses out of the dirt and where I'm building the log cabin the ground is very rocky so I also had to remove many rocks out of the ground. This year it's also the first year for me of picking wild flowers and herbs to dry them up for use later in the winter. I'm very interested in growing and picking up more of my own food and what I find in surrounding forests. In this video I've been picking up the Primrose which is one of the first flowers in our area after the winter and I'll be using it to make my tea blends.
