Description: Since the start of the pandemic, Slater and I have always been together and slept in the same bed every single night. With travels becoming less apparent, we got used to always being with each other. I’d wake up each morning, and he would be the first thing I see. I’d sleep every night and he would be the last thing I’d see. It was our normal. For the first time in 2 years, he finally decided to go on a bachelors trip with his friends for 2 nights and it suddenly felt so weird to be without him! I decided to take Scott, my mom and my sister for a little girls bonding trip to the beach- without daddy! (Secretly worried I would miss him too much!) Turns out, it was the best decision. We had the best time- especially our little boss, Scottie boo! A fun little trip and bonding weekend with my little boy a few weeks before I pop.
