Description: Multiple police cars, ambulance vehicles and fire trucks responding with siren and lights to a large fire in Nottingham while Firefighters work to tackle the incident. At around 1:30pm on Monday, the 31st of January 2022, emergency services responded to a fire at Nottingham Recycling. The firm primarily specialises in recycling carboard at their facility on Abbeyfield Road in the Dunkirk area of Nottingham. All workers on site were evacuated while thankfully there were no injuries reported. Fire engines and crews from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service, East Midlands Midlands Ambulance Service and Nottinghamshire Police attended. 12 pumps, 3 aerial ladder platforms, 1 high volume pumping unit and numerous other specialist units were requested to attend the incident which is now under control. An investigation into the cause is being conducted.
