Description: If you took lesson 1 of Fingerpicking For Beginners- Play Guitar in 12 Minutes, you might be one of the many that experienced some difficulty understanding the "cadence" of the pattern taught, or wasn't sure what strings I was plucking. Back then, I didn't have the ability to insert graphics and was new to making videos. But somehow, over 8 million people throughout the years were able to learn the song that I teach step by step in the 12 lessons series of Fingerpicking For Beginners. This fast forward insert (right after lesson 1 in the playlist: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLx1uwVXECJKjECVns43Kc6_f0X5bs6Ktl) quickly answers those two questions clearly with graphics that for many of you will help. Also included in a "Card" as it's called by YouTube (an interactive link provided right in the video itself (just click on it) , is a link to "How to Hold a Guitar" youtu.be/0eNtyn783cc . The reason why this is so important is, holding the guitar the wrong way will make it so that chords will buzz and /or your fingers will touch other strings. This How to Hold a Guitar" solves that problem and is highly highly recommended before you move onto learning other chords. It will literally save you weeks, months, even years of frustration. After you have finished watching this lesson, proceed to lesson 2 of this series. I might come back (in the future) and add another graphic or two in the series if I feel the need to help explain something better than I did 7 years ago! Happy pickin' bob
