Description: Just when I thought, nothing could beat my previous relic hunt... I went back to the site where I found a massive Roman coin. I wanted to expand the search area and dive a little bit deeper into the forest. I was digging trash for the first 20 minutes, which wasn't a surprise. When I enter a spot for the very first time, I happen to "stumble" upon the best finds first (psychic powers :). When I come back with expectations, it often gets a little bit disappointing, therefore I knew the drill. After the difficult start I found a 1700's and came across a strange signal, that turned into a chain. Then shortly after, a miracle happened! I was sitting the evening before at home, playing with 3D software, modelling a heart. What do I find the next day? That's right... On top of that, the heart was made of porcelain. In order for me to find it, metal detecting Gods had to make someone loose a piece of aluminum :). I don't know how many times I thought of something that appeared a day later in form of a find. There are some powers out there... something strange is happening out in the woods. I then decided to check out the area I looked at from the distance during my previous hunt. I thought, the heart was the find of the day and it would be impossible to match the previous outing with a silver and a Roman coin anyway. When I saw the edge of the ring, I was a little bit skeptical at first, as I got fooled too many times with shiny, yellow objects (even during this hunt, minutes before). When I held it in my hand I knew it was gold due to the weight and appearance. The symbols looked like some sort of "organization". The gold ring seems to be medieval. I'm not entirely sure if it's 1520 or 1580 and if the date describes an event a few years before, or if it's the actual date when this ring was made. According to the following website, this ring could really be that old, which would be amazing: bit.ly/3AF1d6F But even without confirmation, it simply looks that old. How bizarre - another signal next to it, deeper and almost in the same hole, turns out to be a bottle top with aluminum screw cap. What can I say. I will need some time to realize what happened. This could and probably will remain my best find of 2022. Now there is nothing I can look forward to. :D I hope you liked this adventure. I could make it shorter and show only the good, without all the trash, but I prefer to present a honest picture of a hunt, even when it might turn some people off. Edit: this is the following adventure that should be online 4th of February: youtu.be/Kv4lLi2WpMQ Thank you for watching. ✉ To receive notifications about my #MetalDetecting adventures, check if the (subscription) bell icon is set to "ALL".
