Description: SPOILERS TAGS: For Final Fantasy 16 new trailer aswell as Final Fantasy 14 story content leading up to Shadowbringers and BIG Final Fantasy 15 ending story spoils. That out the way its 3 years on since the last crys of Final Fantasy having poor diversity & representation of women. Appearing again as the Final Fantasy 16 story has gone with a male protagonist and some medieval style womens oppression. While I agree Final Fantasy 15 biffed its females potential, there is a bit more nuance to how the 15 saga planned to end its story. Barrett does shut down POC complaints in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake because he isn't token. Final Fantasy 14 ladys do count and as far as they don't, there haven't been a whole lot of dudes either in 10 years... because there hasn't been a whole lot of games. Still, really hope for great female leads in Final Fantasy 16, always do! Aerith is my fave of the 7 Remake and 10-2 is one of my guiltiest all time pleasures. GREAT WOMENS FOR FF16!
